Vlad’s Story

Vlad Katkalov

Vlad was born in Mariupol, Ukraine. He has moved to six different schools since 2014, when Russian attacks on Ukraine became more forceful. He views his moving to various schools as a good thing, as it gave him important communication skills and taught him how to handle meeting new people in very different environments. In high school, he enjoyed challenging himself by taking advanced-level math classes.

Due to increased Russian attacks on Ukraine, Vlad moved to Greece and is now continuing his studies at the American College of Greece with a major in IT. In his free time, he attends Aikido and Muay Thai training, which he has been doing for eight years.
