Kateryna’s Story

Kateryna Kiourana

Kateryna was born in Mariupol, Ukraine, but left the city during April of 2022 when the war between Russia and Ukraine escalated. Before the war affected her, she used to study the German language at Mariupol State University. After leaving Mariupol, Kateryna traveled to Greece and is now studying at the American College of Greece with a major in IT: a field that has always been of interest to her.

In her free time, she works in a cafe and has previous experience in copywriting. During her studies in Greece, Kateryna has still stayed true to one of her main hobbies: learning foreign languages. Having been born in a foreign country, believes meeting people of various cultures is an amazing learning experience.
